352 Media Group Launches Pelican Bay Website

Nestled on the beautiful shores of the Gulf of Mexico and Naples, Florida, Pelican Bay (http://www.pelicanbay.org/) is a community like none other.   Residential spaces include beautiful homes in gated communities or high rise condominiums.  Amenities include two tennis centers, a health club/spa, a championship golf course, canoeing, kayaking, restaurants, private beach clubs, chess center computer lab, art center and a nature preserve.  The community is also home to retail shopping (including a Saks 5th Avenue), a Ritz Carlton Hotel and the Naples Philharmonic.  A tram system allows residents to travel in comfort while leaving their cars at home.

Pelican Bay needed a website that served multiple purposes.  The first and most important purpose was as a resource for their residents.  The website also needed to be a tool for local realtors and potential residents.  Using the website, residents can purchase guest parking permits, pay their association fees, view videos of association meetings, check on beach or tennis center conditions (via webcam), check a calendar to view upcoming events, post classified ads, receive the latest Pelican Bay news and check daily restaurant specials.  Residents can also create their own user experience by setting up a personal dashboard so that they can select items of interest (regarding events, news, etc.) to be prominently displayed.  Additional features will be added over time including a full-blown e-commerce system that allows the purchase of Pelican Bay merchandise and items from the pro shops online.
