Verizon Opens It's Doors

Verizon Wireless has decided to open its door…technically speaking. In a move that has my jaw on the floor, Version will start allowing any device and any software to run off their network as soon as the end of next year. What does that mean you ask?

Your crazy imported Nokia N82? Works on Verizon
Your Hello Kitty Japan import? Works on Verizon
And the best one of all…
Your Google Android apps? Works on Verizon

Anything you can imagine will work on Verizon. Of course limitations will occur. Things like visual voice mail will have to be integrated into Verizon’s systems before you can take advantage of them, but essentially any other function will work off their network.
